  • Mountain biking in the Yukon Territory of Canada.

Adventure filmmakers Trevor Clark and Rachid Dahnoun needed a lightweight camera crane to document mountain biking in the remote Yukon Territory of Canada.  The assignment was to capture the rugged landscape and quality of trails that the Yukon has to offer for H & I Adventures, a Scotland-based adventure outfitter that offers mountain bike trips all over the world.

"When you are mountain biking over technical terrain with all of your camera gear on your back, you need lightweight equipment." -Rachid

Packing a Feather Camera Crane into the wilds of the Yukon Territory by mountain bike was the ultimate test to see how lightweight and capable it truly is, and it completely lived up to its name.  The Feather Camera Crane proved to be a key tool in the success of a video project I worked on with fellow photographer / filmmaker Rachid Dahnoun.  It will definitely be strapped to the pack every time I shoot a video project in the future.

The Feather Camera Crane has changed what is possible for filming in remote locations.  Without the Feather Camera Crane, our recent mountain bike commercial project in the Yukon Territory would have lacked key production elements.  The Feather Camera Crane enabled fellow filmmaker Trevor Clark and me to add an extremely high level of production in very remote locations with minimal crew.  The jib packed and set up easily as we ascended and descended thousands of feet on our mountain bikes, documenting some of the most epic trails on the planet.  The Feather Camera Crane will be forever an integral part of our film making process.
