Searching For Autumn - Hope Valley

The iPhone 6s lets you shoot in 4K resolution, which has over 8 million pixels — four times more than 1080p HD video. We integrated high end production equipment with the ease and accessibility of the iPhone 6s.

With the chill of fall in the air and the exciting new release of the iPhone 6s, the crew here at Lite Pro Gear aspired to take advantage of the fleeting fall colors and put the 4K video feature of the iPhone 6s to the test.

We ventured out to Hope Valley, California with our ultralight video jib, the Feather Crane Plus, the Freefly Systems Movi M10, and attached the Apple iPhone 6s to the gimbal, and created a short to demonstrate how awesome the 4K resolution of the new iPhone really is.

Our story

Born on Adventure... In April 2012 Canyon Florey, founder of Lite Pro Gear, stood atop a peak in the St. Elias Mountains in Alaska where he and filmmaker Chris Edmands swooped the prototype Feather Camera Crane™ out over the abyss. Big mountain rider Ryland Bell descended, the camera rolled, and Teton Gravity Research had another amazing shot to add to their 2012 movie, “Jeremy Jones’ FURTHER.”

Today, from Everest to Iceland, Pakistan to Africa, and many points in between, the carbon fiber Feather Camera Crane™ has made the journey with cinematographers all seeking the same goal… to create amazing and inspiring footage.
